Mango Smoothie
Smoothies are packed with nutrients and easy to make. If you tried a smoothie and didn’t like it, we suggest that you experiment with flavours and the texture that you enjoy. Adding 2 or more parts fruit to 1 parts vegetable will make the smoothie taste like the fruits, which is the flavour many people tend to like the most.
Ingredients
- Add the following ingredients in the order below, to a high-speed blender. Blend for about 30 – 60 seconds.
- 1 cup mango, chopped (or mango puree)
- ½ cup cooked sweet potato
- 1 cup raw spinach or raw shredded cabbage
- 1 tbsp oatmeal
- 1 tsp ground flaxseeds or chia seeds
- about 6 pieces of raw unsalted cashews (optional)
- ½ cup cold water, plus ½ cup of ice cubes
- Serve cold
