Basic Brown Sauce

This brown sauce is great for sautéing vegetables. Add 1 tsp corn starch, oat flour, or 1 tbsp cashew cream, for a thicker consistency for veggie bowls, rice bowls, tacos and wraps.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or Tamari sauce
  • ½ tsp molasses
  • 2 tbsp water
  • (Optional) Add 1 tsp corn starch, oat flour, or 1 tbsp cashew cream, for a thicker consistency for veggie bowls, rice bowls, tacos and wraps.

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients in a coffee cup or small measuring cup thoroughly with a spoon.

Notes

Pairing:
Add half of this brown sauce for the right amount of flavor to 8 – 10 cups chopped green vegetables.
