Roasted Chana

Ingredients
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F
200 degrees C.
Rinse and drain the chickpeas.
Spread the chickpeas on a towel and gently pat dry. Discard any loose skins.
Add chickpeas to a bowl and sprinkle the olive oil and gently toss with a spatula.
Add the garlic powder
paprika, lemon juice, salt and pepper and toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated
Add parchment paper to a baking sheet and transfer the chickpeas mixture to the parchment.
Spread evenly on the baking sheet. Try not to let the chickpeas touch each other as much as you can
but it doesn’t have to be perfect.
Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes
then remove and let cool before adding to your salad.
