Roasted Chana
Ingredients
- Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F 200 degrees C.
- Rinse and drain the chickpeas.
- Spread the chickpeas on a towel and gently pat dry. Discard any loose skins.
- Add chickpeas to a bowl and sprinkle the olive oil and gently toss with a spatula.
- Add the garlic powder paprika, lemon juice, salt and pepper and toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated
- Add parchment paper to a baking sheet and transfer the chickpeas mixture to the parchment.
- Spread evenly on the baking sheet. Try not to let the chickpeas touch each other as much as you can but it doesn’t have to be perfect.
- Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes then remove and let cool before adding to your salad.

Pairing: Add to salads, wraps, sautéed vegetables, or enjoy as a snack.
